I carry a safe, vibrant and grounded masculine energy, and I bring a variety of experience and education to my healing practice. My formal education was in engineering, and shortly after college I decided to follow my passion in music and drumming. I have studied, performed and taught primarily West African music for 14 years and have been strongly influenced by its joy and power. I have seen a very large, loving community of people grow around me and found the healing power of the drum transforming many lives. I was called to study at the Barbara Brennan School of Healing to deepen the healing energies already in my hands with drumming, and am completing my third year there. I received first and second degree Reiki attunements in 2005 and began my healing practice that year. I have had many experiences with drumming and healing holding the physical and spiritual worlds as one, and have a particular passion for drumming at childbirths. I bring chant, toning and many musical instruments into my healing, and I have been guided to do many distance healings.
